Description
Xerochrysum bracteatum are a perennial species of Everlasting Daisy, perfect for gardens where seedlings of the annual varieties tend to get munched up by bugs!
Flowers grow as high as 1 m and are a popular dried flower, keeping their colour for many months, hence the name ‘everlasting’.
If allowed to set seed, they self – sow readily while providing a food source to native pollinators.
Care
This frost – tender plant does best in a part – shade position such as a garden border although it will thrive in full sun with sufficient watering through the warmer parts of the year.
