Description
A hardy and useful plant, Aloe Vera is commonly used for skincare and hair care. The gel can be eaten, and has been used as a digestive aid, similar to psyllium husk. This is the Chinensis variety, which has beautiful orange flowers.
Care
Tolerates full sun or part shade, but requires free draining soil. Suitable for containers, but use a light and airy potting mix, and preferably a terracotta or other porous container. Suitable for sunny indoor positions.
