Description
A premium strain of Japanese Kambocha pumpkin, this compact vine produces plenty of medium – sized, late – maturing fruits with an excellent sweet, rich flavour and fine texture. Fruit keeps a dark green skin with a rich orange interior and can be harvested once the vine starts to die back in the colder months.
Care
Grows vigorously in full sun but more tolerant of part shade than most other cultivars. Plant with root ball 5 – 10 cm below the soil surface, especially if during a period of warmer weather. Will require regular watering until established and then periodic deep watering after that. Benefits from mulching and fertilizing.
